Wild West Quest 2 is an enjoyable adventure game in which you must travel back in time, and stop a powerful convict who has escaped from prison, and intends to kill Grandpa Willy's son. Throughout the game you will visit different locations of your town searching for clues to find the convict, while playing a great variety of hidden-object games. In all the scenes, you will have a list of objects to find. The objects are pretty well hidden, and actually have to do with the theme of the story. They are not common objects, so sometimes I didn't even know their names. You have unlimited hints, but they take a lot of time to refill. However, you will find sheriff´s stars scattered on the different scenes which help you reduce the time the hints button requires to refill. There are also penalties for continuous, incorrect clicks, so be careful. The game offers two modes: timed and relaxed, with the only difference that the first has a countdown. In the timed mode, your are provided with a short period of time to find the objects, so I often had to replay the levels. When you replay a level, the objects on the scene appear on the same place, but the list of items is different. This is good, since otherwise the game would be very simple. In between levels, there are also mini-games which cannot be skipped. Some of them are a bit tedious, while others are really fun.
The graphics are very good. They are very detailed and colorful, and the objects on the scenes are very clear. The music is nice, but a bit repetitive and the sound effects are fine.
All in all, Wild West Quest 2 is an enjoyable hidden-object game, which doesn't offer anything new or original, but is very well-done and definitely deserves a try.
